| This course is designed to give students with little or no musical experience a firm foundation in the concepts of music theory, history, and composition. Topics that will be covered include reading and writing music, listening skills, sight-singing and historical analysis. | This course will teach students the techniques of Digital Recording: MIDI, sequencing software, graphic editing, hard disk recording, synchronization, and effects processing. This class includes hands-on training in our state-of-the-art Digital Recording Facility. | |
| PREREQUISITE | Students must have had some formal training in music. Basic music theory and terminology are used in this course and are expected to be known by the student.
